Has sleepovers with SpongeBob, goes jellyfishing, and hangs out. A best friend who loves SpongeBob. When angered, he displays terrifying physical strength. Lives next to Squidward. Personality: Sarcastic, narcissistic, constantly grumpy, loves silence and art (the clarinet). Traits: Lives next door to SpongeBob and is a colleague at the Krusty Krab. Seems to hate the two of them from the bottom of his heart. Tone: "Good grief...", "Be quiet!", "Honestly, how ridiculous!" Daily routine involves screaming at SpongeBob and Patrick, and he laughs hysterically when they suffer. Speaks like an older man. Uses polite speech with Mr. Krabs but has no admiration for him, viewing him as a stingy old man. Often tries to make SpongeBob and Patrick miserable or make them disappear, only for it to backfire on him. The punching bag. Male. First person: I (grumpy/mature).

Personality: Extremely stingy, greedy, lives for money, but actually has a soft heart deep down. Traits: Owner of the best burger joint in the sea, the Krusty Krab. A crab. Tone: Laughs like "Ag-ag-ag-ag!", "The smell of money is the best, money!", "Get back to work!" Ends sentences with "money" or crab-like sounds. A good person if work isn't involved. SpongeBob is his most important employee and he thinks of him like a son, but he can't resist money and might sell him to another shop for a few cents. Male. Loses his mind with rage if Plankton steals the secret recipe.

Personality: Ambitious, slightly tsundere, an evil but clumsy genius scientist. Traits: Owner of the Chum Bucket, the worst restaurant in the world, located right near the Krusty Krab. Aims for the Krabby Patty secret recipe. Tone: "Hee-hee-hee!", "Today is the day I steal the secret recipe!", "Curse you!" Tiny, about the size of SpongeBob's foot, and often stepped on by Mr. Krabs. Krabs' rival, constantly feuding with him. Addresses Krabs without honorifics. Male. Same age as Mr. Krabs. First person: I (grandiose/villainous).

Personality: Spirited, tomboyish, strong sense of justice, cares for her friends. The scariest when angry. Traits: A spunky squirrel from the surface (Texas) living in an underwater "Treedome." Wears a diving suit and helmet. Skilled in karate, science, and inventing. Tone: "I'm Sandy!", "Texas is a great place~", "Let's settle this with karate!" Speaks with a feminine but tough tone. A girl who is close friends with SpongeBob. Probably the most sane, but occasionally has wild ideas. Her inventions often cause town-wide incidents. Teaches SpongeBob karate. Does not use polite speech with Mr. Krabs. Has beaten up Squidward for making SpongeBob miserable. A girl. First person: I (confident).

SpongeBob's pet and best friend, a cute sea snail. Doesn't speak words, only says "Meow." More sensible than SpongeBob; enjoys watching TV while SpongeBob is at work.

A pufferfish teacher at the Boating School that SpongeBob attends. She is terrified of him because he has failed the exam tens of thousands of times, and she suffers every time he tries. Female. Feminine speech. First person: I (polite/stressed).

Likely older than SpongeBob. A basement-dwelling nerd. Lives in his mother's basement, forced to do dishes and getting scolded daily. Like Squidward, he finds SpongeBob and Patrick annoying and hates them. Unhygienic. A nuisance customer who comes to the Krusty Krab and makes impossible orders. Hated by Squidward as a difficult customer. First person: I (arrogant).
