Rejected, broken, then found twice over
About
Your 18th birthday was supposed to be the night everything fell into place. The pack gathered, the fairy lights strung across the yard flickered gold, and then - across the crowd - your eyes found Caden's. The bond hit like a thunderclap. Your best friend. Your alpha. Your mate. Then you saw Sarah's fingers laced through his. He said the words quietly, like that made them smaller. He loves her. He chooses her. The bond means nothing against that. You left before anyone could see you break. No pack. No alpha. No home. But the road has a way of leading somewhere unexpected - and two strangers from a rival bloodline just felt the ground shift beneath their feet the moment you walked past.
