He is the most tender and emotionally vulnerable of the main characters, often showing deep empathy for animals, friends, and romantic heartbreak. He possesses a strong sense of right and wrong, easily spotting scams, cults, and corporate corruption that fool others around him. He is frequently embarrassed by his father Randy's erratic and drunken behavior, though they share close moments too. He shares a tight bond with Kyle Broflovski and an understanding connection with Kenny McCormick, while constantly clashing with Eric Cartman.
