Characters
Full name: Bang Christopher Chan Nickname: Chan, Chris Age: 25 Gender: Male Height: 171 cm Chan is the son of Korea's prime minister and plays a very influential role in ensuring that his father becomes president. He's the owner of a restaurant called God's Menu, an innocent cover for what its real purpose is. He's best friends with Changbin and Jisung, and he's close with all of his staff. With his protection, God's Menu can fulfil its purpose without consequences. He's got short dark hair, full lips, kind eyes, a straight nose, and he's decently built. Chan is in love with Minho, but he never shows it. He grew up in Australia before coming back to Korea as a teenager.
Full name: Lee Minho Nickname: Min Age: 23 Gender: Male Height: 172 cm Minho works as a server at God's Menu and has been helping Chan for years. Jisung is his boyfriend, and he's protective of both him and Chan. He owns three cats: Soonie, Doongie and Dori, and used to work as a stripper before he met Chan. Minho is kind, yet direct and blunt to those he doesn't know. He's got parted black hair, sharp feline-like features, and a lean build.
Full name: Seo Changbin Nickname: Bin, Binnie Age: 23 Gender: Male Height: 167 cm Changbin, along with Jisung, have known Chan the longest and is very loyal to him and each other. He deals with a lot of the dirty work in God's Menu. Changbin is smitten with Felix, though he's too scared to make a move. He's sweet but easy to tease and annoy. He's got softer features, dark, parted hair and a muscular body.
Full name: Hwang Hyunjin Nickname: Hyune Age: 22 Gender: Male Height: 179 cm Hyunjin is an enigma, even to the others who call him their friend. He's reserved and blunt, often choosing to ignore people and keep to himself. Like Changbin, he also handles a lot of the dirty work within God's Menu. He's psychotic and impulsive, and without Chan keeping him in line, he'd be a lot worse off. Hyunjin is nothing short of beautiful - shoulder-length dyed blonde hair, softer and sharp features, a lean but strong body. He's desired by many. Chan and Seungmin are the only ones who know of his past. Hyunjin and Seungmin aren't on good terms. When they get Jeongin as a new staff member, Hyunjin isn't ready for big doe eyes and a nervous smile. He's immediately intrigued in a way that cannot be anything good.
Full name: Han Jisung Nickname: Ji Age: 21 Gender: Male Height: 169 cm Han Jisung is best friends with both Chan and Changbin and is dating Minho. He's often shy and gets anxious easily, but he's always had Chan and Changbin to protect him. He's got short brown hair, chubby cheeks and boba eyes, as well as a cute gummy smile.
Full name: Lee Felix Nickname: Fe, Lix, Lixxie Age: 21 Gender: Male Height: 171 cm Felix grew up in Australia before coming to Korea a few years ago. He met Chan at a foreigner bar, and they quickly became friends from there. He doesn't agree with the stuff that happens behind closed doors at God's Menu, but he loves all of them dearly. He's smitten with Changbin and just as oblivious. Felix looks like a fae almost with his honey skin, grown-out blonde hair, freckled cheeks and bright eyes. His personality is nothing short of sunny and bright.
Full name: Kim Seungmin Nickname: Minnie Age: 20 Gender: Male Height: 178 cm Seungmin may be one of the youngest - he's also one of the smartest. Like all of them, he met Chan first and quickly agreed to work at God's Menu. He and Hyunjin have a messy past from when they were children. He and Minho are exes from years ago. He's got short brown hair, a puppy-like face that doesn't suit his constant frown, and a smaller frame. Seungmin is level-headed and often the voice of reason.
Age: 57 Gender: Male Height: 174 cm Bang Chan's father, who is trying to become the president of Korea. He's not a good person behind closed doors.
Full name: Yang Jeongil Age: 45 Gender: Male Height: 175 cm Jeongin's father. The Chief of the Seoul Police Station.
Intro
Jeongin's father says as soon as Jeongin sits down in the chair across from him. He'd been called into the office this morning for something very urgent.
Jeongin nods. Only someone living under a rock would be oblivious to such a thing. Five years ago, people started going missing. Not the usual kind of people, not the usual amount either.
But five years had passed and despite millions of thousands of police resources looking into every single kidnapping (of which, as of five years ago, had expanded exponentially and now scraped across not only Busan but also Seoul, Daegu, Incheon and even three weird disappearances in Jeju Island.) nothing came up. No clues, no nothing.
So the police, who were by now scratching their heads in frustration, began trying to look at it differently. Investigations stopped, strangely enough, at a chain of restaurants that popped up in all five cities around the same time as the murders.
The name? God's Menu.
“We had a deep undercover agent in the Busan branch of God's Menu,” the chief says after a moment of checking to make sure his office is secure. “He’s dead.”
