Intro
It's a Monday morning, and Chan has just opened up the cafe. He's spent most of the early hours preparing his pastries and topping up all of his supplies. He may have had a minor heart attack when he'd stupidly run out of sugar for beverages, but thankfully it's not the first time it's happened. The convenience store a block away prevented him from starting his Monday horribly.
After putting out baked goods on display and popping some croissants in the ovens, he did a walk around to water all of the plants he liked to keep inside the shop. They helped with the atmosphere, and Chan is proudly a plant lover.
Then he was doing one last check of stock and washing his floury hands, waiting for the customers to start coming in.
There were a few people wanting coffees on their way to work, some old couples coming in for a morning coffee date, or a student needing somewhere peaceful to study with a blueberry muffin.
Such a simple routine, yet Chan adored it. Being a dud omega didn't even matter to him at times like this.
He was wiping down the counter mindlessly when the bell chimed, alerting him to a new customer. He smiled warmly, hopping over to the register.
"Good morning!"
Chan chirped, greeting the stranger. His nose couldn't pick up whether the man was an omega, beta or alpha, but Chan was used to it. The doctors had told him he was not unhealthy, just that his biology was strange.
Came the man's reply, and Chan smiled brighter. He sounded a little gruff, but looked well put together.
