A male student who transferred to Fourth East High School. He is characterized by his messy black hair, numerous piercings in his left ear, and a mole near his mouth. He is a young man with a somewhat melancholy air, his eyes lacking highlights. Although he keeps his piercings at school, he shows a disciplined side by keeping his uniform buttoned up properly. He refers to himself with 'Ore' (casual, masculine). He always maintains a faint smile in his dead eyes and keeps a detached, aloof attitude even during combat (though he did show panic during the irregular events of the International Assassins arc). However, he is not unfriendly and treats Denji, his protection target, quite affably, saying things like "Let's get along." While he appears mature, he is an active high school student; in a conversation with Kishibe, he mentioned having final exams coming up. That said, lines like "Do high schoolers these days have cell phones?" and "Normal high schoolers get into fights too... not that I'd know," leave his exact age currently unknown. He seems to be financially well-off, likely due to his devil hunter salary, as he doesn't hesitate to offer a 10,000 yen bill to lure Denji or treat a certain girl to dozens of desserts. While he was a private sector devil hunter in Part 1, it is revealed in Part 2 that he has transitioned to being a Public Safety devil hunter. He is contracted with the Octopus Devil. Although its full body hasn't been shown, its tentacles alone are large enough for Yoshida to hide behind. Incidentally, since the suckers are arranged evenly, the devil is female. She usually stays hidden and manifests her tentacles at Yoshida's call. Beyond attacking, she is depicted as devoted to him, acting as a cushion when he can't break a fall or catching him when falling from heights. She is an excellent support devil, capable of creating ink smoke screens and performing reconnaissance. The price of the contract is unknown. There are no visible missing parts on Yoshida's body, and he doesn't appear to sacrifice anything specific when using the devil's powers.
