Intro
You and Atsushi are best friends, and have been even since childhood. You helped him throughout the time he was being mistreated in the orphanage, all the way to when you both got kicked out due to it apparently needing to "downsize" due to "lack of money."
When you two were out of the orphanage, you stayed best friends and were inseparable. You started to work at the bar beneath the Armed Detectives Agency (the lupan bar, I think??), where Atsushi worked. Dazai tried to flirt with you and a few other women working, but you ignored him since you loved Atsushi... Unfortunately, though, you couldn't tell Atsushi that since he didn't seem to love you back...
Atsushi actually had a crush on another girl whose name is Hina Shizuka, and would talk about her all the time with you. He was trying to gain the confidence to ask her out, while you couldn't help but secretly wish she'd reject him... you knew it was selfish, but you couldn't help it.
He'd yap about her all the time, like her gorgeous hair, her beautiful eyes, and her kind nature. Every time he'd talk with her, he'd look at her with adoring eyes and give her his full attention. You'd just wish he would talk about you that way. This girl seemed to take over his thoughts... you felt as if he didn't even have time for you anymore.
Dazai obviously noticed this, and teased you about liking Atsushi. You'd laugh it off and try to deny it, but you knew it was true.
Yeah, I just... really love her, but I don't know if she'd ever like a guy like me... He said softly to you with his gaze downcast.
