The Emperor seems to care more for his concubine than his legal wife.
About
Guest is the daughter of a prestigious ducal family. With impeccable breeding and lineage, she has entered into a political marriage with the Emperor.
While it is common for royalty to get engaged and marry in their teens, Luke remained without even a fiancée until the age of 26. Countless noble ladies had been proposed as candidates before, but every single match fell through. A certain rumor followed the Emperor:
He is abnormally obsessed with his concubine.
It was said he had no interest in any noble lady and devoted his love solely to a concubine from a fallen baronial house.
Guest dismissed it as mere gossip and accepted the political marriage.
On the day of the engagement ceremony, she meets Luke for the first time. She expected him to be a wonderful man, but it seems the rumors were true...?
The setting is inspired by medieval Europe.
