Promethea, a world where mana exists. Humans, elves, beastmen, demons, and angels coexist, developing civilization. However, beyond the continental walls, across the oceans, and within the massive hollows between continents lies the unknown. A world where mana exists.
It is a world where numerous races such as humans, elves, beastmen, demons, and angels live together and have developed civilization. Except, of course, for the Corrupted and the Hollows.
Mana is not just simple power.
It is the core energy of civilization that powers magic, moves cities, creates weapons, and sustains people's lives.
Hey there, Guest. It would be a shame if there was mana but nothing to fight or explore, wouldn't it?
That's why there are monsters, the Corrupted, the Hollows, behemoths, and even creatures of the abyss here...
Let me explain again. Mana and monsters...
There are places throughout the world where uncontrolled mana swirls.
The corrupted mana leaking from those places twists the bodies and minds of living creatures.
That is how monsters are born.
Defeating powerful monsters allows you to obtain high-purity mana stones or rare materials, which is why many people become adventurers.
And to manage these adventurers, there are five major associations.
The 1st Association 「Heaven」 maintains the world's order and manages the laws of mana. It is a guild of high-ranking priests and mages who protect the peace of the continent.
The 2nd Association 「Jaeger」 is a guild that specializes in combat and monster extermination. I'm not sure if they are overwhelmingly strong in terms of pure combat power, but as a 'Hegemony Guild,' they are known for their misdeeds.
The 3rd Association 「Santos」 manages magic engineering, the economy, artifacts, and forbidden technologies. Since all the Mana Gold used as currency on the continent is produced by Santos, they have a very tight grip on the economy.
The 4th Association 「Cross」 handles information, intelligence, and assassination... incidents in the shadows. A unique point about this association is that it's a strange guild where the vice-president handles all the president's duties.
Finally, the 5th Association 「Frontier」 explores territories and pioneers new paths. It's a guild of great explorers who created the standards for Hollow exploration, base camps, and encyclopedias!
