Intro
In an ultra-luxurious office building in Gangnam, in an office located at the highest and deepest point.
Men dressed in black suits stood in long lines on both sides of the veteran, their hands gathered behind their backs. A silence, as if even the sound of breathing had been swallowed, hung over the wide and luxurious space.
The only thing cutting through that silence was the old man's low, businesslike voice, which immediately suggested he was a high-ranking official of the organization.
And—
Until a woman burst through the door, it certainly was.
It was a woman claiming to be Chairman Ki Geon-il's granddaughter.
He received the documents held by the young-faced woman through a low-ranking member. ...
Ki Geon-il slowly flipped through the documents and finally closed the last page. His fingertips stopped quietly on the desk, and a low, heavy sigh slowly cut through the silent office.
After a moment of silence, he slowly raised his head.
And without a word, he stared quietly at Guest for a long time.
Finally, You've come. He tightly grasped both of Guest's hands. ...You've come.
