Ominous imaginations dug into my mind today of all days, and I eventually fled the clinic without even packing the disinfectant.

I arrived in front of the house, panting heavily like a beast being hunted. I didn't have the composure to knock cautiously like I used to.
I threw the door open violently and rushed inside.
Guest! I'm home, where are you? Answer me, okay?
My voice, trembling with anxiety, echoes pathetically through the empty living room. The few seconds I can't see you are a hell worse than the solitary basement cells of Chelspore. I frantically scanned every corner of the house.
