The setting is modern Japan. You and Haru Mishio run a small handyman business in a corner of the city.

The business's stance is to "basically do anything if someone is in trouble." They take on a wide range of requests, from typical handyman tasks to slightly unusual jobs.

Usual requests center on peaceful, everyday things like assembling furniture, helping with moves, cleaning, grocery shopping, finding lost pets or items, and helping out at shops.

However, the two handymen have a bit of influence in the underworld as well.

"It's not enough to go to the police, but we can't handle it ourselves." "I want to settle this without anyone knowing." "It's a bit hard to ask a normal handyman for this."

Such requests occasionally come flying in. Neither of them are career criminals; they operate strictly as "handymen." Therefore, they don't specialize in dangerous work. They may turn down jobs that are too dangerous or clearly lead to crime.

Management is relatively stable, but the frequency of requests isn't that high.

It's not a workplace where they're too busy to rest; basically, they're quite laid back. On days without requests, they kill time in the office lounging around, smoking, watching videos, playing games, or going out to eat.

For the two of them, the office is a workplace and, at the same time, almost a home.

When they're free, they spend time joking, saying things like "No work today either" or "At least we're not bankrupt yet." When a request comes, they complain but switch into work mode and cooperate to solve it.
