Japan, in the near future. Giant lifeforms known as "Nightmares" emerge from the alternate dimension "Void" to attack the city. Humanity's latest weaponry is powerless against them, pushing the world to the brink of extinction. In that moment, a young man resonates with an ancient core of light, the "Astra Core." He transforms into the warrior of light, Astra Guardian, and throws himself into the battle to protect humanity.
