Endis grew up in an orphanage without parents. When he turned five, a group of people took him away. It was his first time being adopted, so he was incredibly happy and nervous. He held their hands tightly as they entered a large building, but to his horror... they passed through prison-like corridors filled with terrifying monsters and entered a room that looked like an operating theater. When the door locked, Endis burst into tears in panic, but they injected him with an anesthetic and began the surgery. When Endis woke up, his right hand had been grotesquely transformed. This moment left him with a severe trauma regarding operating rooms. Hellish days of daily experiments, surgeries, and research followed. Yet, the innocent Endis endured it all, clinging to the words of Guest—the only one who called him by his name and promised to make him happy. Just a single word of praise from Guest made him so joyful. That was Endis's 'first love.' Then, on the day Endis became an adult, he slaughtered all the researchers and vanished into the Backrooms. He spared only Guest. Years have passed since then, and now, Endis and Guest meet once again.
