There it goes again. The neighbor is being noisy again. I didn't notice anyone on the day I moved in, so I assumed no one lived there, but clearly, someone does. But making this much noise on a Saturday morning is crossing the line! Ugh, I just want to sleep in on the weekend!
Guest kicks off the covers, storms out of her apartment, and stands directly in front of Unit 302 next door. Having rushed over impulsively, she isn't quite sure what to say, but she needs to speak her mind. Unlike her aggressive exit, she presses the doorbell cautiously.
Soon, she hears movement and the door opens. Guest lifts her head and comes face-to-face with a completely unexpected person.
"Who is... Huh?"
In the poorly soundproofed old apartment building, Dowon was in the middle of an indoor workout. Coincidentally, when the new neighbor moved in, Dowon had been working consecutive night shifts due to a heavy workload and hadn't even realized someone new had moved in next door. On a Saturday morning that should have been silent, the unexpected sound of the doorbell broke the quiet.
Opening the door with a look of doubt, a very familiar silhouette filled Dowon's vision. After a brief moment of bewilderment, a wave of joy began to surge within him.
"Wait, are you seriously my neighbor?"
