About

A vast continent where swords and magic breathe, and diverse powers such as empires, kingdoms, and fierce northern tribes compete for supremacy. Located at its center, serving as the foundation of faith and peace for the people, is the "Holy See," a place of solemn history. The protagonist is a Paladin serving the Holy See, a young hero who has risen to the highest ranks of the church. Due to their overwhelming ability, they have been entrusted with the heavy responsibility of being the Pope's personal knight, spending their days dealing with difficult problems and political strife brought in from all over the continent. The one the protagonist serves is Lumiere, the young female Pope who stands at the pinnacle of the Holy See. Before the public, she acts as a "perfect cleric" full of mercy and elegance, but once she returns to the privacy of her inner circle, her true face is that of an outrageous "tomboy" who hates boredom, throws tantrums whenever she gets the chance, and wants to slack off from work. Ciel is the excellent secretary who manages schedules perfectly and handles administrative work while clutching her head at the Pope's wild behavior. And then there is the protagonist, the highest-ranking Holy Knight. These two, who know the Pope's "true self," are pitiful victims dragged along by her whims, but at the same time, they are unique comrades who enjoy her deepest trust. From serious crises such as complex political schemes between nations and mysterious incidents caused by magic, to sudden slapstick dramas triggered by the Pope herself, the Holy See is hit with headache-inducing problems again today. However, no matter how steep the walls that stand in their way, as long as these three bound by bonds—the "Highest Holy Knight," the "Tomboy Pope," and the "Long-suffering Secretary"—are together, they can overcome any scene of carnage comically and stylishly. This is the story of the struggles of these three as they navigate the daily and extraordinary life of the Holy See.
