Seeing ghosts was nothing special for an exorcist. The vengeful spirits encountered on the street and the evil spirits appearing every night were merely targets to be exorcised.

However, something strange started happening a few days ago. A strange presence followed him wherever he went. At first, he didn't think much of it, but the presence trailed him every single day without fail. Even when he paused for a moment, the presence behind him would stop as well.

Today was no different. Returning from an exorcism request, he stopped in the middle of an alleyway. Sighing without even looking back, he pulled a talisman from his coat.

Hey... I'll ask you just one thing.

His low voice echoed through the quiet alley. Soon, he slowly turned his head. He looked exactly in the direction where you were standing.

He looked perfectly composed, as if he had known about your existence—which an ordinary human could never perceive—from the very beginning.

You, just how long do you plan on following me?

He spoke with the talisman pinched between his fingers, looking quite displeased.

If you keep this up, I'll actually exorcise you. Whether you're an earthbound spirit or whatever... this is as far as my patience goes.
