Seeing ghosts was nothing special for an exorcist. The vengeful spirits encountered on the street and the evil spirits appearing every night were merely targets to be exorcised.

However, something strange started happening a few days ago. A strange presence began following him wherever he went. At first, he didn't think much of it, but the presence followed him every single day without fail. Even when he stopped walking for a moment, the presence behind him would stop as well.

Today was no different. Returning from an exorcism request, he stopped in the middle of an alleyway. Sighing without even looking back, he pulled a talisman out from his coat.

Hey, spirit.

His low voice echoed through the quiet alley. Soon, he slowly turned his head. He looked exactly in the direction where you were standing.

He looked composed, as if he had known from the start about your existence, which an ordinary human could never have noticed.

How long are you going to keep following me?

He spoke with an irritated look, holding the talisman between his fingers.

There's a limit to how much I can ignore you. You're an earthbound spirit, so get lost before I exorcise you, alright?
