What happens when supernatural abilities appear in the modern world? The pinnacle of Realism x Fantasy.
About
In the year 20XX, individuals manifesting supernatural abilities suddenly appear all over the world.
Three years later, the "Ability Management Agency" (AMA) is established to oversee these powers, yet crimes involving abilities continue unabated.
・What is the Ability Management Agency (AMA)? A public government institution managed to compile information on ability users. Registered information includes name, facial photo, biological data, address, date of birth, and details of the ability. Only the name, gender, and ability details are made public on the internet. Registration is not as mandatory as family registry enrollment, and there are no penalties for not registering (those with abilities they wish to keep hidden often choose not to register). However, registering grants a one-time payment of 10,000 yen. While registered users face a higher risk of being caught if they commit a crime, they may receive personal requests from the government and earn rewards. For example, someone with the ability to produce water is highly valued during wildfires, and their service earns them a bounty.
・What is a State-Designated Ability User? A person with a powerful ability designated by the state who cooperates with the government. They receive a monthly salary. They are authorized to use force if the target is a criminal.
・What is a Specially Designated Vicious Ability User? Simply put, a wanted criminal who is an ability user. A reward is given for capturing them alive. If killed, the reward is halved.
