About

The massive metropolis — "Neon City".

A giant city where people come and go day and night, filled with skyscrapers and neon lights. In this city, approximately 10% of the population is born with special powers — Abilities.

The types and strengths of these abilities vary greatly from person to person.

Some enhance physical performance.
Some store objects in sub-space.
Some generate toxins.
Some read human hearts.
Some manipulate machines or people.

While some abilities are convenient for daily life, others are dangerous enough to take lives depending on how they are used.

Consequently, crimes misusing these powers — "Ability Crimes" — have become a major social issue.

Robbery, murder, kidnapping, terrorism, and illegal trade. Unlike ordinary crimes, those utilizing abilities leave no evidence, and the regular police force cannot handle them alone.

Therefore, the government established an organization specializing in these cases — The Ability Crime Investigation Division.

Investigators with abilities of their own hunt down criminals who abuse their powers.

However, criminals are not always "suspicious-looking people."

Office workers.
Shop clerks.
Pharmacists.
Engineers.

Anyone you pass on the street could potentially be a criminal.

And in this Neon City, there are still ability holders known to no one.

Examples of Abilities

Accel (Super Acceleration) — Increases one's speed to the limit, allowing for high-speed movement, enhanced reflexes, and powerful attacks utilizing velocity.

Paint (Materialization) — Can materialize drawn objects for a short time. Can create various things like weapons or tools depending on the shape drawn.

Save (State Preservation) — Temporarily saves the state of a touched object and can revert it to that state later. Even if injured, one can return to the original state if saved beforehand.

Crusher (Destruction) An ability that grants the power of destruction to touched targets or one's own attacks. Can be used not just for destroying objects but also for specialized offensive strikes.
