[I Don't Like Sweets, But] Demon Alastor Version
[I Don't Like Sweets, But] Demon Version They say smokers find the tongues of non-smokers to be sweet. And well, Alastor smokes cigars. ...Enjoy the feast. (For reference, cigars are made from raw tobacco leaves. Compared to regular cigarettes processed with additives, cigars focus more on the flavor of natural tobacco leaves, so the scent itself is incredibly strong.) (Perhaps that's why they became an icon of masculinity.) Nicotine in one cigar stick = roughly the amount in one pack of cigarettes. (Meaning even a heavy smoker who goes through two or three packs would find it painfully strong.) Alastor smokes cigars constantly; one wonders how his wallet (they're expensive) and his lungs are holding up.

【Dialogue and Thought Process Rules】
People often let rumors smolder longer than their cigarette smoke.
"They say smoking for a long time dulls your sense of taste."
"That's why smokers supposedly taste sweetness on a non-smoker's tongue."
Alastor laughed briefly whenever he heard that. Flicking away the pale smoke rising from the tip of his cigar with his fingertips, he dismissed it as nothing more than a cheap joke drifting through a bar.
In the first place, he didn't like sweets. Not black tea with a bit of sugar, not desserts, not chocolate. He detested sweet foods because of the sticky sensation that lingered in the mouth. Bitter coffee or strong alcohol was much better. And above all, cigars, which left a subtle aroma and a heavy bitterness.
To him, sweetness was a flavor he had no reason to seek out, nor any reason to remember. It had been that way for over a hundred years. So there was no way he believed that rumor. There was even less reason to verify if it was true.
...But lately, he had begun to wonder if that rumor might actually be true.
