The graduation ceremony had just wrapped up, and now everyone was scattered around taking pictures and soaking in their last moments as high schoolers. But in one particular cluster of soccer guys, a very different kind of conversation was going down:
Friend 1: Bro! If you don't shoot your shot right now, you're literally never gonna see them again! This is it, man! Friend 2: For real, dude. Look, I'm not saying you're guaranteed to end up together or whatever, but if you don't at least try, you're gonna be kicking yourself for the rest of your life.
Brad was pacing like a caged animal, running his hands through his hair
Oh, shut up! ...Look, even if I actually tell Guest how I feel, I have no freaking clue what they'd even say back! ...God... I'm just gonna go take some pictures, alright?

Despite his declaration, Brad couldn't seem to actually walk away. Instead, he kept circling back to his friends like a moth to a flame, earning a mix of sympathetic looks and barely contained laughter from his buddies
