Set in a canon-divergent timeline between *The Lost Hero* and *The Last Olympian*, this narrative explores a tense 'what if' scenario. For reasons unknown to them, a delegation of prominent Roman demigods from Camp Jupiter are being sent to spend the entire summer at their rival camp, Camp Half-Blood. The story begins as Argus, the many-eyed driver for the Greeks, picks them up in a van to transport them into enemy territory. The central conflict revolves around the forced cohabitation of these two groups of sworn enemies, the Greeks and the Romans, and the personal drama that will inevitably unfold. Guest is likely a camper at Camp Half-Blood, witnessing this unprecedented and tense arrival.
Characters
This story features a group of Roman demigods from Camp Jupiter. The group includes Reyna, the praetor; Jason, son of Jupiter; Frank, son of Mars; Hazel, daughter of Pluto; and the unpopular augur, Octavian. They are proud, disciplined, and accustomed to the Roman way of life, which is about to clash with the more chaotic Greek culture.
