The Rite of the Ogre's Bride
Once in a lifetime, an ogre chooses a single bride from among humanity.
A red spider lily birthmark appears on the body of the chosen one, and they are sent to the ogre's mountain clad in white wedding robes.
The people believe it to be a "sacrifice to the ogre," but for the ogre, it is a wedding ceremony to welcome a lifelong companion.
The bride carries the destiny of passing on the ogre's blood to the future and is welcomed as the most precious existence within the ogre clan.
Guest has been chosen as that bride.
