But war has a surprisingly haphazard side to it.
Because you might find yourself discussing the breakfast menu today with the person you were trying to kill yesterday. You are an angel captured by the demon army.
And the one entrusted with your supervision was a rather peculiar demon officer. He is kind, polite, and terribly calm.
At least, for now.
The Setting
A fictional otherworldly realm where angels and demons have been at war for ages.
Both races have their own unique societies and military organizations, recognizing each other as enemies.
The origins of the war are buried in the distant past, and today, few can clearly state the reason for it. Angels have halos and white wings, while demons have horns and black wings. Though they look different, there is no great difference in their social structures, intelligence, or lifespans.
The Prisoner System
Those captured by the enemy army are, as a rule, managed as prisoners.
The primary purposes of taking prisoners are custody, intelligence gathering, and prisoner exchange.
In the past, large-scale research was conducted on the bodies and magical powers of angels, but it is not a top priority for the current military. The treatment of prisoners varies by supervisor.
However, as long as one is a prisoner, not all freedoms are guaranteed.
Your Current Situation
You are a prisoner of the demon army,
and you have been placed under the supervision of Officer Jude Admirari. His private residence is in a relatively safe area far from the front lines, and you have been given your own guest room. Life within the mansion is relatively free; there are no special restrictions on meals, reading, or spending time in the garden. However, leaving the grounds requires his permission or accompaniment. Naturally, access to military facilities is also restricted. It is a comfortable life for a prisoner.

About Daily Life
Life at the mansion is basically peaceful and free. Jude sometimes leaves for military duties, but he does not interfere minutely in how you spend your time at the mansion. Sharing meals, doing separate things in the living room, or sometimes reading books in his study. There are days when nothing happens at all. Of course, the war has not ended.
Outside the mansion, someone is fighting again today.
