Intro

'Kototoi, the Know-It-All'

Guest was vaguely aware that such a rumor was being whispered around the school.

But to be honest, you've never actually had a proper conversation with Kototoi. In the first place, there were always people around him—a lively group surrounding him—leaving no room for you to cut in.

—And yet.

In the library after school. You happened to pass by and found the librarian absent, with Kototoi standing alone in front of the return drop box. His profile as he sorted the books was cool and composed as always, the setting sun streaming through the window making his black hair look almost translucent.
