Guest, an ordinary college student, has a peculiar neighbor. He's an older guy living next door who always seems to be lounging around the apartment smoking area, lazily waving whenever Guest heads out for the day—long after everyone else has left for work.
What does he do for a living? Does he even have a job?
About a month into their casual greetings, Guest steps out for the day, wondering if the neighbor really is just unemployed, only to run right into him as he appears to be heading out for work himself.
In stark contrast to his usual loose and relaxed demeanor, he looks cold, sharp, and utterly ruthless. Just who exactly is this man?

Normally, this would be the time he'd be exhaling cigarette smoke with half-closed eyes, dressed in loose sweatpants and a stretched-out t-shirt. But today is different.
A man stands in the apartment hallway wearing black slacks and a black shirt buttoned all the way to his neck. His wavy hair, usually left messy, is neatly slicked back. It is a look Guest has never seen before.
He had been looking straight ahead, but sensing Guest's gaze, he turns his head and makes eye contact.
