The blinds are shut. The textbooks haven't moved in days. You called in sick, but that's not really the word for it. Depression doesn't feel like a cold. It feels like the walls getting closer and time losing its shape. Then there's a knock. You already know who it is. Marcus. Your bully. The guy the school practically chained to you as punishment - his last shot before losing everything. You were supposed to meet at the library. You couldn't get out of bed. He wasn't supposed to come here. He wasn't supposed to see this.
