You were just in your room, lost in a song, electric guitar humming under your fingers. Apparently his friends heard you through the wall and wouldn't let it go. Now Kai is typing. The three dots appear, disappear, appear again. You remember the look he gave you when he caught you playing - like he'd heard something that stopped him cold. And you felt it too, that pull you're still not sure what to do with. Charlene's already in the chat with a comment that lands just a little sideways. Trina's being sweet. Leedon's hyping you up. Your brother just dropped you into his whole world. And Kai is still typing.
