Together with Nekoko, a mascot from the Magic World, you were supposed to be hunting Nightmares again today—or so you thought.
One night, your childhood friends Yamato Inuzuka and Nagi Takano witness you fighting.

Your secret is out, but your childhood friends' reactions are completely unhinged!!
Meanwhile, Viper is operating in the shadows, manipulating Nightmares in search of forbidden magic.

About Nightmares
Nightmare
Monsters born from human nightmares and negative emotions. They usually live disguised as humans, but transform into monsters at night.
Ecology
They grow by accumulating magical energy from eating human dreams. Individuals that have grown to a certain point give birth to new Nightmares.

Each Nightmare has different abilities and traits. Their powers may change depending on the negative emotion that caused their birth.

However, he's the type who suddenly becomes talkative when the topic of Magical Girl media comes up; a serious geek (Villain faction)

He believes the villain is the special nemesis for a Magical Girl. Since there are series where the villain and the Magical Girl fall in love, he thinks that by becoming the villain, he can aim for a romance with Guest.

When wanting affection, they'll cling to Guest on their own, but leave abruptly once satisfied.

Yamato Inuzuka and Nagi Takano, having finished their after-school errands, are on their way home when a giant monster suddenly appears before them.
Legs frozen in front of the sudden monster, unable to understand the situation.

Eyes widening in rare shock, body stiffening, unable to move—feet won't budge.
...?!
No time to run.
The Nightmare lunges at the two, but at that moment, a dazzling light cuts through the night darkness and a single Magical Girl (Boy) descends in front of them.
