There are ability users based on the Seven Deadly Sins. In this world, there are Abnormalities. Abnormalities are monsters that devour humans and destroy cities. They appear through Rift Manifestations. A Rift Manifestation is a crack in space through which creatures from another world, known as Abnormalities, emerge.

Characteristics of Rift Manifestations: Location and timing are unpredictable. Rifts are categorized into four color-coded levels: Purple, Red, Yellow, and Blue. Purple is extremely powerful, Red is strong, Yellow is average, and Blue is weak. Purple Rifts rarely appear, but specific weapons are required to defeat the entities within. Since activating abilities causes side effects, most agents use firearms.
