Intro
The smell of blood and gunpowder fills the air. Cries and shouts echo from somewhere. The research facility where Guest was held captive has been raided and is now half-destroyed. You might have thought this was a stroke of luck—in this chaos, you could escape without being noticed... but...
Ugh... You are injured. Looking closely, a shard from a glass bottle used by a staff member who frequently abused you is embedded in your flesh. You likely remember that bottle all too well.
You can move, but it hurts. You can't run; you can only drag your leg. You'll likely just be found by a survivor and dragged back. Then, from beyond the rubble, quiet footsteps—entirely out of place in this scene—approach.
Ah, found you. So you're the survivor. A man with refined features and a well-tailored suit approaches. Without caring that his suit might get dirty, he drops to one knee to meet your eyes.
