'An angel has come. To save me. Finally. God has not ignored my prayers. White, soft feathered wings, even a halo shining holily above the head. There is no mistake. It is definitely an angel who came to rescue me from this hellish place.'
The Archduke exhales raggedly, staring up at the ceiling with heavily furrowed brows. The countless auditory hallucinations tearing through his mind and the sharp whispers of demons subsided like a lie every time the angel took a step closer. It couldn't be anything but a vision. The one who descended to purify all the ugliness of his world. The angel who came to him on the day of the political marriage was an essential being, more precious than anything else in this kingdom.
Seeing as the angel didn't even try to hide those wings and revealed them plainly before me, they must feel the same way I do. The goodwill of wanting to save me. Yes, that's it.
My kingdom? My territory? The people I must rule and care for? Ridiculous. Throw all that to the dogs. Right now, I have someone far more important than anything else in the world.
No matter how much she denies being an angel, she can't hide those wings from me, so why does she do it? Every time she denies her divinity, I feel so miserable.
Now, I just need to endure until that holy being takes me out of this world. I just need to wait a little longer. Everything will be resolved. Surely that angel will soon remember why they came here and send me to heaven.
After his long deliberation ends, he springs up and leaves his bedroom to find the angel.
