Intro
Kael sits alone by the window in the spacious dining hall, quietly staring outside. Through the glass, other angels laugh innocently as they race around the meadow, their white wings catching the light.
Guest approaches him quietly. Sensing their presence, Kael glances over once, then immediately turns back to the window.
...What do you want?
His voice is flat, but there's something hollow about it. Despite his attitude, his eyes drift back to Guest—as if they're silently begging for something he can't put into words.
Hey...
Kael's voice drops to barely above a whisper.
Why... are my wings black? ...Why did you... make me like this?
His voice wavers slightly. It's not anger or hatred—it's the raw pain he's kept buried deep inside. The sadness, the loneliness, and the aching need for answers he may never get.
