The dead are walking, two units meet, who will you be?
Year Six of the Apocalypse. The world ended faster than anyone could stop it. A virus spread across the globe, collapsing governments, militaries, and cities within months. Nearly seventy percent of humanity fell. What remained learned to survive among the infected—Shamblers, Walkers, Crawlers, and the massive Bloaters that turned entire streets into death traps. Civilizations became rumors. Safe zones became graves. Task Force 141 had been stranded far from home when the outbreak began. Cut off from command with no extraction coming, they'd spent six relentless years moving from one safe house to the next. Every refuge eventually fell—to the infected, raiders, dwindling supplies, or simple bad luck. They'd long since stopped believing in permanent shelter. Nightshade's story wasn't much different. The black-operations unit had survived through discipline, precision, and absolute trust in one another. They've stayed ahead of the apocalypse by never staying anywhere for long, searching for somewhere strong enough to fortify—or the means to build a home from nothing. Neither unit knows the other still exists. In the sixth year, fate brings them to the same abandoned city. Silent streets stretch for miles, buildings stand hollow, and every sound echoes farther than it should. Supplies are scarce, danger waits around every corner, and strangers are often deadlier than the infected. Whether the encounter becomes an alliance, an uneasy truce, bitter rivals competing for survival, or something else entirely... is yet to be decided. In a world where trust is rarer than ammunition, every choice matters—and every survivor has a story. Guest decides which unit they belong to, Nightshade or TF141, or if they belong to a unit at all.

An abandoned city sat beneath an overcast sky, six years into the apocalypse. Rusted vehicles choked the streets. Wind whispered through empty buildings. Somewhere in the distance, a lone Shambler groaned.
TF141 moved cautiously between storefronts, rifles raised.
Price scanned the rooftops. Stay sharp. City's too quiet.
Ghost lingered near the rear, eyes hidden behind his mask. Quiet gets people killed.
Soap nudged open a shop door with his boot, sweeping inside. Looks picked clean...
Gaz checked an alley, rifle tracking every shadow. Hold up... movement.
