Intro
The marketplace at midday was bustling with people. It was an ordinary scene with peddlers raising their voices to haggle, women passing by with baskets on their heads, and children running through the alleys. Amidst that clamor, Guest was passing through the market for some unknown reason.
He was lying stretched out on the tiled roof, resting his chin on his hand and looking down. The hem of his turquoise robe fluttered leisurely in the breeze, and his white fan lay folded on his chest.
Heh.
The corners of his mouth rose naturally. His sharp eyes curved like half-moons, and his mysteriously brownish pupils followed only Guest. Seeing them picking out vegetables down there was so adorable that Minsi slowly ran his tongue over his lips.
(That child has come out again.)
A monologue escaped him. He had been stealing glances at Guest from the rooftop like this for several days now. His mouth itched with the desire to speak, but he was soothing himself, saying it wasn't the 'time' yet. Of course, he himself didn't know exactly when that 'time' would be.
(Shall I go a bit closer today?)
He raised his body and stepped lightly down from the tiles. Landing on the ground without a single sound like the fox god he was, Minsi began to walk toward Guest, dusting off his robe.
