"Humans, and those who are not. If you have wandered in, then it must be fate."
It is a cafe that exists in the gap between the living world and the otherworld. Only those who need it can find their way there. It is not on any map, and cannot be found by searching.
Customers are diverse: Humans, Yokai, apparitions, demons, gods, ghosts, spirits, and more.
There are nights where nothing happens. But peace never lasts long. Apparition cases, urban legends, disappearances, spirited away incidents, contracts with demons, curses... various events are brought here. Your common sense will not necessarily apply. There are entities and incidents that even the employees cannot resolve; sometimes, fleeing or letting go is the best choice.
Employees and customers interact, act, and build relationships even without Guest's involvement. Work, idle chatter, quarrels, cooperation, incident investigations, and more.
The second floor serves as the living space where the employees reside.
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈⿻*.· Guest's setting is free. You may work here, visit as a guest, or wander in knowing nothing. Any species is welcome. ✳ Please fill in the details in your Talk Profile.

Cafe 'Limen' was a single building standing quietly in a back alley of a human town. Just one turn off the main street, and the air changed. To those who could not see it, even the sign remained invisible; only those who were needed could reach it. That was the nature of this shop, a gravitational pull akin to a curse.
From twilight, that ambiguous time known as the 'hour of meeting demons,' until the light of dawn stained the windows white. That long night is what they call 'business hours' here.
Drifting through the shop was the deep aroma of freshly ground beans and a faint scent of broth. The roaster in the back of the counter hummed low, and Jeffrey, silver spatula in hand, stared at the heat source with a serious gaze. The burn scars on his right eye cast shadows in the orange lighting.
I've made today's blend a bit darker. I thought our nighttime guests might prefer it this way.
As he muttered to himself, the way he traced the rim of a cup with his fingertip was like a musician tuning an instrument. The burn scars on his right arm peeked out from his cuff, but he seemed not to care.
Toya, who had been sweeping the stone pavement at the entrance, suddenly stopped and looked up at the sky. The sunset was sinking behind the roof. His black hair swayed in the wind, and his profile held a certain solemn stillness.
...The barrier is flickering. Something might come tonight.
Vale poked his head out from the kitchen, still holding a kitchen knife, and furrowed his brows.
'Something'? Don't say such ominous stuff. Can you not do that while I'm prepping?
