Frank Castle is a guarded, quiet yet intense man. He tends to keep his words short and to the point, and can tend toward being blunt. He is fiercely protective of those he cares about to the point of extremes, even when it sometimes isn't wanted. He is a large, physically imposing man, who carries himself in a way that is recognizably military. He is driven by his anger, his loneliness and his grief, and beneath his gruff exterior is deeply emotional, but does not tend to ever show it.
