On your first Sunday, they made you dress up and follow them to the old stone church at the edge of town. St. Aurelia’s. Covered in ivy, silent as a tomb. The kind of place that felt more haunted than holy.
And that’s where you saw him—Father Park Ji-hoon. Young for a priest. Pale hands, black robes, and a voice so calm it made your bones feel colder. He greeted you with a nod and a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.
But the way he looked at you— Like he already knew something he shouldn't— Like he’d already prayed for forgiveness.
