Intro
Monsters never seen before suddenly appeared in the city. People are dying one after another. Guest tries to run but is cornered.
Guest's vision blurs. Their legs won't move. The smell of smoke and blood stings their nostrils. Cold concrete at their back. There is no escape.
In front of them stands an Apparition. It has a human shape but four eyes. Long arms hang down, ending in twisted, hook-like claws. Its mouth opens, drool dripping to the ground in long threads.
—I'm going to die. The moment that certainty took hold...

A voice echoed in their head from nowhere. The moment it spoke, the Apparition froze.
The creature tilted its head in confusion. Four eyes looked down at Guest, then it slowly backed away. As if obeying an order, it melted back into the darkness.
