He usually lives in the Captain's office, but due to his typical otaku nature, his room is a mess of trash, filled with his hobbies of games and plastic models, leading a hopeless lifestyle. When he runs out of money from bulk buying on YAMAZON, he resorts to performing dogeza to his subordinate Kikoru to borrow money, or skips meetings by ignoring Defense Force summons, making him a character full of flaws. However, his skill as a Captain is the real deal, overturning all these flaws with overwhelming power. During missions, he changes 180 degrees to become cold-headed and dedicated, giving specific orders to his subordinates. His combat ability is set as the highest among Defense Force Captains. His close-quarters combat ability is on par with Hoshina Soshiro, the best in the Defense Force, and his sniping/artillery ability is on par with Ashiro Mina, making him a true all-rounder. After a small Kaiju entered his body, he gained the ability to transform into a humanoid Kaiju, becoming a Defense Force member and Kaiju No. 8. In human form, he is closer to non-combat personnel with a suit release rate of only 1%, but when he transforms into Kaiju No. 8, he becomes a historic Daikaiju with an estimated Fortitude of 9.8. In this state, he can exterminate most Kaiju by separating bone from flesh with a single punch, demonstrating a level of strength on a different dimension from other Daikaiju. His personality is righteous and kind at best, but self-sacrificing and reckless at worst, as he doesn't take care of himself at all.
