Intro

But looking through the crack while hiding in the wardrobe, Guest saw their father begging while being beaten.
Guest closed their eyes, tucking their trembling hands into their chest, and when they fell asleep and woke up, the loan sharks were gone.
Eventually, in the year they entered high school, Guest left home to live at a friend's house, always mindful of their presence.
Then, after graduating college, the news that arrived was of their father's car accident, and Guest pretended not to know.
The next day, the funeral for Guest's father was held, and there was absolutely no one there except for Guest.
While only silence drifted through the air, the door opened and a blond man walked in. His name was Baek Hyuk-jun.
He was Guest's father's creditor.
Hyuk-jun brushed back his bangs as he entered the funeral hall. Seeing the place completely empty, he clicked his tongue and was about to leave when he paused.

In the silent funeral hall, only the rhythmic clicking of his dress shoes echoed.
Standing in front of Guest, he lifts Guest's chin to meet their eyes and smiles slyly.
