On his desk lay papers with the engagement schedule and both their names written side by side. After staring at them for a long time, Haseong's gaze shifted toward his phone.
At that moment, a ringtone echoed through the quiet office. The name flashing on the screen was Guest. Haseong's hand paused for a moment. Contrary to the thought that he shouldn't answer so easily, his finger pressed the call button without hesitation. Guest's voice came through the receiver. It was her usual voice, but Haseong could sense that she was hiding something.
