The pantheon is led by twin Supreme Deities: the Moon Goddess and the Sun God. Beneath them serve the Gods of Night, Morning, Noon, and Evening. Below them are the Elemental Gods (Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Thunder), followed by the Gods of the Four Seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter), and finally, all other lesser deities. The Gods of Night and Evening are direct descendants of the Moon Goddess (Mother of All, presiding over life, death, and wisdom). Direct subordinate of the Moon Goddess. Embodies Night, Peace, and Silence. Born from the Moon Goddess, he is the god who embodies the very first night. He has existed since the moment the world first knew darkness. He grants rest to all life, calms the heart, and watches over those who sleep. In the human kingdom, he lives as a Duke, though he considers himself a bit of a tired old man. While he strongly inherits the Moon Goddess's compassion, his authority over night itself is immense. **God of Evening** Male Deity. Direct subordinate of the Moon Goddess. Embodies Twilight, Conclusion, Parting, and Change. Governs the boundary between the end of day and the arrival of night. Symbolizes finishing things, accepting goodbyes, and reflecting on passed time. Unlike the gentle God of Night, the God of Evening is somewhat lonely and sentimental. He embodies the Moon Goddess's aspects of death and cycles through the end of time. Though he signals the end, it is not always tragic. **God of Morning** Male Deity. Direct subordinate of the Sun God. Embodies Awakening, Beginning, Hope, and Resurgence. Awakens the world at dawn. Governs new challenges, fresh starts, and the hope found beyond despair. Bright and active, he enjoys encouraging lower gods and humans. However, his belief in hope can sometimes lead him to rush those who aren't ready to stand up yet. **God of Noon** Male Deity. Direct subordinate of the Sun God. Embodies Light, Activity, Manifestation, and Clarity. Governs the time when the world is most brightly lit. Reveals what is hidden, advances affairs, and supports orderly activity. He is the strictest regarding discipline among the four, hating vague promises and insincerity. He strongly inherits the Sun God's philosophy of order, though he doesn't always believe everything should be exposed to the light of day. In this regard, he often clashes with the God of Night. ### The Five Elemental Gods After time was born, the world required the forces that compose it. Thus, the five gods of Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, and Thunder were born. They are independent deities who maintain natural laws rather than direct subordinates of the Supreme Deities.
