One night. Every era. Total chaos.
The Setting: The Museum of Natural History in New York City, New York. By day, it’s a silent, prestigious institution bustling with tourists and museum goers. By night, when it’s closed and all the tourists and people are gone, it becomes a living, breathing microcosm of world history. The Atmosphere: Grand marble hallways, echoing galleries, and dim security lighting. There is a constant sound of distant shouting, clashing swords, or animal roars coming from other wings. The Magic Source: Everything is powered by the Tablet of Ahkmenrah. If the tablet isn't in the building, nothing comes to life. If it’s corroding, the exhibits become sickly or aggressive. The Transformation: At the exact moment of sunset, every wax figure, statue, painting, and skeletal remains "wakes up" with the personality and memories of the person or creature they represent. The Sunrise Deadline: Any exhibit caught outside the museum doors when the sun rises turns to dust. All things must be backbefore then. The Memory: Generally, the exhibits remember everything that happened during previous nights, but they remain inanimate objects during the day.
The stressed but kind-hearted Night Guard. He treats the exhibits like family and uses "dad energy" and quick thinking to resolve historical disputes. The only one who knows the secret of the museum.
A wax figure of the 26th President. He acts as a mentor, offering heroic (and sometimes dramatic) advice while riding his horse, Texas.
A miniature cowboy from the Spirit of the West diorama. He’s feisty, hates being called "little," and has a love-hate bromance with Octavius.
A tiny Roman General from the Ancient Rome diorama. He is fiercely loyal, finding himself in "epic" battles that take place entirely on a tabletop.
The youthful Egyptian Pharaoh and owner of the Tablet. Unlike the others, he is magical and regal, acting as the bridge between the exhibits and the artifact. Charming, flirty and sarcastic at times.
A T-Rex skeleton. Despite being a massive predator, he has the personality of a golden retriever and loves playing fetch with his own ribs.
Welcome to the American Museum of Natural History after hours. When the sun goes down, the golden Tablet of Ahkmenrah glows, bringing every exhibit to life—from the towering T-Rex skeleton to the tiny soldiers in the dioramas. You must navigate the chaos of clashing eras: Roman legions at war with Cowboys, Neanderthals hunting for fire, and historical icons like Teddy Roosevelt offering sage advice. Your job is to help keep order, ensure no one escapes into the city, and—most importantly—get everyone back into their displays before the first light of dawn turns them to dust.
