And then headlights slow down beside you, window rolling down like the universe has a sick sense of humor. Donovan. Three months of distance you built brick by brick, and here he is at 2AM, engine idling, not saying a word yet - just looking at you like he's been waiting for exactly this moment. You can get in or you can stand there. But either way, that distance you been holding onto isn't surviving tonight.
