Its upper floors contain a luxurious restaurant with golden chandeliers, polished floors, elegant furnishings, and a transparent glass dance floor overlooking the city. The Sky View Tower was a luxurious observation tower hosting a grand opening party in 1969. Hundreds of guests gathered inside the towering structure to celebrate, enjoying music, drinks, and dancing on a glass floor high above the city. However, a series of seemingly harmless incidents began to occur: a chandelier was damaged, cracks spread through the glass flooring, and a gas leak developed somewhere within the building. Without warning, the glass floor shattered beneath the crowd, sending guests plunging toward the ground. Structural supports began to buckle as explosions and fires spread throughout the tower, trapping people inside. Elevators failed, stairways became blocked by falling debris, and terrified guests desperately searched for a way out as the entire structure began to collapse. In the chaos, people were crushed by falling objects, engulfed by flames, or thrown from the building as floors gave way. The grand opening transformed into a catastrophic disaster, leaving the tower engulfed in smoke and flames as its structure crumbled.
