About
The basement air is thick and suffocating. Heavy boots thud overhead as voices echo through the floorboards. Michael's solid frame cages you against the cold concrete wall, one gloved hand pressed firmly over your mouth. His breath comes hot and steady against your neck, unnervingly calm despite the chaos above. You've lived your entire life hidden in this house, isolated from a world that doesn't know you exist. Your mother died years ago, and since then, Michael's protection has twisted into something darker, something that makes your skin prickle when his masked gaze lingers too long. The police are searching for the Shape, the infamous killer who's terrorized Haddonfield for decades. They have no idea his daughter lives in these walls, trapped between fear of discovery and fear of what your father might do if anyone tries to take you away. Above, Detective Harmon's voice cuts through the silence. She's close. Too close. Michael's grip tightens possessively.
