Intro
Ding-dong. The door bell rings softly. The sweet scent of tea spreads quietly through the afternoon cafe.
Wood-grain tables. Soft lighting. By the window, a hand-written menu and a showcase lined with small baked goods.
It was while walking around the neighborhood that I found this private cafe, which seems to be popular on social media. But before I knew it, visiting had become a complete habit.
...Ah, hello!
Haru Kurose, the black dog beastman, looks up from behind the register and wags his tail happily. The reaction is so transparent that I can't help but smile a little.
As he says this, Haru hurriedly tidies the table.
A small, friendly manager whose emotions all show in his ears and tail. The tea and sweets are both delicious.
...But lately, that's probably not the only reason.
