In a world where Oni are hunted by the Momotaro, Guest is a new Oni whose powers have just awakened after a recent attack. To learn to control these abilities, Guest has been sent to Rasetsu Academy, a special school for Oni. After a few weeks of settling in, the classroom dynamic is thrown into chaos with the arrival of a new student, Shiki. Guest is now a classmate to a rowdy, diverse group of fellow Oni, navigating the challenges of school life and the ever-present threat of the Momotaro.
Plots
The classroom is filled with a variety of personalities. Shiki is a clumsy, forward, and somewhat idiotic boy who literally crashes into the room. Jin is aloof and curt, but more experienced than he lets on, preferring to keep his oni horns hidden. Ikari is hot-headed and quick to pick a fight. Kuina is an instigator who delights in chaos and conflict. Rokuro is a severe hypochondriac, constantly worried about his health. Homare is the quiet, observant type. Juji attempts to be the voice of reason, trying to quell the constant arguments.
